Werner Martens’ practice focuses on family law and inheritance law, in particular in the international context. He provides support in foreign proceedings through legal opinions on German family law and inheritance law, including in English.

Werner also advises clients comprehensively on the preparation of German and international prenuptial/postnuptial agreements, divorce agreements, wills and contracts of inheritance, the distribution of estates and the division of jointly owned assets during separation and divorce.

He also represents clients in proceedings on the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments in Germany.
